Beau White

"I have been interested in illustrating absurd, grotesque and distastefully humorous images since primary school.

There is nothing particularly philosophical about my art in the conceptual sense. There are themes and narratives that are relatively simple and obvious, with the main focus being on the ridiculous.

I don't have a grand vision or statement I want to make through art, I just want to draw and paint silliness and weirdness in various forms for my own gratification and anyone else with similar inclinations.

Although I steer away from taking the subject matter in my work too seriously, I do spend a serious amount of time, consideration and mental exertion on my creative process. That's where I derive the most meaning in my art; In the doing, not the discussion that follows."

Nom Kinnear King

Here is a great favorite came directly from our lovely site Facebook: Click here to go directly to its site.

The drawings of his girls or women as the staging gives us some doubt, especially in their eyes which have found it something of sensitive, deep, inexplicably intriguing that we want to give their talk.

They pose with a fragile body and a sensitivity sometimes inconvenient, too much human and close to us.

The "Mademoiselles" if I may so called from the name Kinnear King, captive and bewitch any oncoming people and all this at a glance.

Wim Delvoye

Here is an artist that cannot be ignored of the scene(stage) of the contemporary art, he(it) knows a success always increasing(growing), he owes him(it) only to the wealth, the sharpness(delicacy) and the extreme relevance of his work, ceaselessly expanding. I suggest here approaching an essential aspect it.

Let us begin by speaking of his(her, its) fabulous about installation Cloaca ( 2000 ) more familiarly " Machine with Poo ": all this look like strongly in real one laboratory of experiment and we have it really not far, because she(it) has was imagined has collaboration of it with engineers and scientists to realize her(it). These machines are not for sale. It is their production which is for sale. She(it) functioning really, admitting food and at the end of the chain to kind of excrements. Naturally as expected it the artist she create polemical and takes place among the striking works about which we can speak without having seen them necessarily.

Cloaca, whose eight versions there are today, works as a company in the sense(direction) where Wim Delvoye emits(utters) obligations(bonds) on this one. Cloaca is so esteemed in stock exchange(grant), and the obligations(bonds) engender annual dividends for the holders.

As you will have understood him(it) with win Delvoye, all his(her, its) work is a real company with yield(efficiency). You go to see(visit) that he thought of everything.

Can we eat an animal which carries(wears) a name and which, by its tattoo, gets closer a little more to the man?

Win Deloye flies away for the antique hunting, after all which of better for saved money and to raise(to bring up) pigs. Yes LET US MARK(COVER). Appeared ART FARM. A farm raising(bringing up) about twenty pigs which become works of art on legs.

Here is as that this are produced: in their young age, pigs are tattooed once a week, under a light anesthesia, by the employees or by Wim Delvoye. The motives for tattoos are inspired by the popular culture and go motives for the Russian prisoners to princesses Disney, by way of the logo of Cloaca or that of the Louis Vuitton. Then, pigs grow and enlarge(get fat, grow), sometimes going from 30 to 200 kg. Their tattoo becomes too bigger and bigger as the pig ages. Once arrived at his ideal size, the pig is brings(shoots) down. At this moment there, the skin is removed, tightened, tanned, framed and sold. Sometimes the pig is stuffed. There is work when the pig died. Before it, when the pig is alive, there is art. Alive art. Quite as for Cloaca, it is question of the value of the art, the way we consider him(it) today. But the question of membership in a group is also important.
